What does pH means?

pH is the abbreviation for potential hydrogen. The pH of any solution is the measure of its hydrogen-ion concentration. The higher the pH reading the more alkaline and oxygen rich the fluid is. The lower the pH reading, the more acidic and oxygen deprived the fluid is. The pH is range is from 0 to 14, with 7.0 being neutral. anything above 7.0 is alkaline, anything below 7.0 is acidic.

Human blood stays in a very narrow pH range around 7.35 - 7.45. Below or above this range means symptoms and disease. If blood pH moves too much below 6.8 or above 7.8, cells stop functioning and the patient dies. The ideal pH balance for blood is 7.4

Acidosis is a condition when our blood pH is very acidic. It's an accumulation of more acid than our body can effectively process. Prolonged periods of acidosis affect not only the physical condition but also the mental and emotional states of patients.

So if you or know someone who is very negative in their outlook in life it may not be their personality. It could be that their pH imbalanced, in this case very acidic.

Here are 10 reasons to avoid acidic pH:

1. Keep your arteries, veins and heart healthy

If want to maintain healthy arteries, veins and heart keep your blood pH alkaline. Acidosis is like acid it erodes and eats into the cell wall membranes of the heart, arteries and veins, weakening the cardiovascular structures and inter connective tissues.

2. Prevent acceleration of Free-Radical Damage and Premature Aging

When blood pH is acidic it causes partial lipid breakdown and destructive oxidation cascades. This accelerates Free Radical damage of the cell walls and intracellular membranes structures, which then unravel, killing cells in the process. This is the first step toward premature aging, creating wrinkling, age spots, dysfunctional hormonal systems, interfering with eyesight, memory, and a host of other age-related phenomena.

3. Prevent unnecessary FAT gain, Diabetes and Obesity

The majority of weight problems, including Type 2 Diabetes and Obesity have major influence by an acidic pH. When our pH is habitually acidic, a condition known as Insulin Sensitivity or Syndrome X results. That means our body thinks it's in famine resulting in over production of insulin so that it can convert all calories into fat and storing more fat than usual. As more insulin are available to the body , the higher the probability that fat will be produced and stored, rather than used and burned as energy.

Stress within the cells increases , making it difficult for them to perform adequately and to survive. Acidosis is thought to be an important yet often underestimated precursor to Diabetes Mellitus. Before synthetic insulin, diabetes was treated by buffering the system with base or alkaline causing powder.

4. Prevent Cholesterol Plaque to Form

It has been found that the amount of cholesterol in our diet is not the major factor in cholesterol plaque formation rather the pH status appears to be the factor more directly involved, bringing cholesterol with the metals and other cellular debris.

With a blood pH of less than 7.20 arteries become dilated. Acidosis also causes persistent venuos vasoconstriction ( a disease in the caliber of blood vessels). The more acidic our blood pH, the greater the fractional redistribution of blood to the central vessels. When the contractability is compromised, the workload of the heart increases.

6. Prevent Disruption in Critical Lipid and Fatty Acids

Fatty acids are directly involved in nerve and brain function. Acidosis disrupts general lipid and fatty acid metabolism within the body. When fatty acid metabolism is disrupted, neurological problems may arise including Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Degeneration and others, as well as problems with hormonal balance within the endocrine system.

Acidosis prevents efficient cellular and body metabolism. It masses up the cellular communications and functions. It effects the ability of the heart to pump efficiently and rhythmically. It drains us of energy and not allows stored energy reserves to be used, and causes osteoporosis.

So if you want cancer sometime in your life keep your pH very acidic by drinking lots of soda (soda has a pH of 2.0) and have a high protein diet. You don't even have to worry too much about all the other bad stuff you can put into you body because excessive soda alone can kill you.

CANCEROUS CELLS DO NOT CONTAIN HYDROGEN ATOMS. WHEN HEALTHY CELLS HAVE PLENTY OF HYDROGEN ATOMS, THEY CANNOT BE CANCEROUS. IF WE CAN GET HYDROGEN INTO UNHEALTHY CELLS, THEY CAN HEAL.

An acidic pH, less oxygen are delivered to normal healthy cells causing them to become unhealthy and eventually they die.
